Abstract

Aminoalkyl vinyl ethers, while convertible to a number of readily polymerizable derivatives, are themselves sluggish monomers in the presence of free radical catalysts. Since vinyl sulfides, as a class, polymerize more readily than vinyl ethers, the preparation of a number of aminoalkyl vinyl sulfides (I) was desired for a study of their properties.
