Abstract

Herein we describe the structure-aided design and synthesis of a series of pyridone- conjugated monobactam analogues with in vitro antibacterial activity against clinically relevant Gram-negative species including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli.
