Abstract

Quinoxaline N-oxides, bearing in the hetero-ring 1-hydroxyalkyl, bromomethyl, substituted aminoalkyl or carboxyl groups, and various functional derivatives of these groups, have been made in a search for compounds of improved antibacterial or antiprotozoal activity.
