Abstract

Abstract The iridium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of 13 different β-dehydroamino acid derivatives to give optically active β-amino acid esters has been examined. Readily accessible monodentate octahydrobinaphthol-based phosphoramidites were used as chiral ligands.
