Abstract
A number of fluorine-substituted uracil derivatives show interesting biological activity. For example, 5-fluorouracil derivatives are useful as antitumor agents, and 5-(trifluoromethy1) deoxyuridine shows marked antiviral activity. l,* The binding of 6-substituted uracil to thymidine phosphorylase has been studied.
