Abstract
A new enzymatic system for the synthesis of enantiomerically pure cyclic amino acids (CAA) from the corresponding diamino acids or racemic CAA is described. α, ω-Diamino acids were oxidized to α-keto acids with amino acid oxidases (AAO).
