Abstract

Abstract: The 4-(2-cyclopropyl-l-ethynyl) nitrobenzene anion radical and the (2-cyclopropyl-I- ethyny1) tropenyl radical, two? r radicals having the cyclopropyl group attached to digonal carbon, have been synthesized and studied by esr spectroscopy. The corresponding methyl analogs were also synthesized and shown to have essentially equivalent spin distributions. The isopropyl analog was also prepared in the first, anion radical, series.
