Abstract
Various O, S-diaryl dithiocarbonates with the general formula of pX–C 6 H 4–S–C (= S)–O– C 6 H 4–Yp (I) were prepared. When these substances were kept at an elevated temperature, they rearranged smoothly to S, S-diaryl dithiocarbonates of this general formula: pX–C 6 H 4–S–C (= O)–S–C 6 H 4-Yp (II).
