Abstract

There is still a need for rapid syntheses of protected nucleosides, which are the primary building blocks in 01-igonucleotide synthesis. We report here a simple method for the rapid preparation of 2'-deoxycytidine protected derivatives, making use of a direct selective protection of the N-4 amino group.
