Abstract

Abstract The range and scope of the oxidative oxazoline–oxazinone rearrangement– hydrogenation sequence (OOOH)—a short, direct asymmetric synthesis of α-amino acids from carboxylic acids—was explored. The highest yet reported diastereoselectivity for
