Abstract

To improve antifungal activities, water solubility and bioavailability, a series of novel analogues of itraconazole-containing pyridine rings were designed and synthesized. Their antifungal activities were evaluated in vitro against six clinically important fungi by measuring the minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs).
