Abstract
A series of 1, 3-dihaloadamantanes (3, X= Y= halogens) have been synthesized, characterized, and treated with (trimethylstannyl) alkali reagents (MeaSnM, M= Li or Na) in the absence and presence of tert-butylamine (TBA) and dicyclohexylphosphine (DCPH).
