Abstract
Δ 1 -Dehydrogenation of abundantly available Δ 4 -3-keto-steroids for getting more effective therapeutic drugs is one of the important reactions in steroid chemistry [1]. Microbiological Δ 1 -dehydrogenation method is frequently used for the preparation of Δ 1,4 -3-keto-steroids [2] and [3].
