Abstract

Summary The kinetics of saponification in 85% aqueous ethanol have been studied for ethyl phenylacetate, ethyl hydrocinnamate, ethyl y-phenylbutyrate, ethyl b-phenylvalerate, ethyl hydratropate, ethyl phenylethylacetate, ethyl diphenylacetate and ethyl cyclohexylacetate at four temperatures.
