Abstract
Five alternating copolymers of dithienyl-s-tetrazine and cyclopentadithiophene with different side alkyl chains were synthesized. Their solubility, thermal stability, optical, electrochemical, and chain-stacking properties were investigated. Efficient solar cell devices were fabricated from these polymers with PC71BM. The polymer with linear hexyl side chains shows maximum power conversion efficiency up to 5.5%.
