Abstract
Although there are several reports on the addition of alcohols to such olefins, 3* 4 apparently the only reference to the addition of phenola mentions its addition to tetrafluoroethylene under anhydrous conditions in an autoclave to give lJ1, 2, 2-tetrafluoro-1- phenoxyethane.
