Abstract
Free-radical reactions of perfluoroalkanesulfenyl chlorides and pentafluorobenzenesulfenyl chloride with cyclohexane and toluene were carried out in the presence of bis (perfluoroalky1) disuliidea and bis (pentatluoropheny1) disulfide to asaem the competition between the disulfide and the sulfenyl chloride for reaction with hydrocarbon radicals.
