Abstract
2, 2-Dichloro-I, I-difluoroethyl-diethylamine (II) was prepared by addition of diethylamine to I, I-dichlorodifluoroethylene. The reaction of 11 with I-butanol is analogous to that of 2-chloro-- I, I, 2-trifluoroethyl-diethylamine (I), and affords 1-lluorobutane and N, N- dicthyldichloroacetamide (Ill). Reaction of 11 with fluoroalkanol s I V-VI at room temperature gives only amino ethers (eg VI11) which are hydrolysed to dichloroacetates IX-Xl. ...
