Abstract
A click reaction was used to connect electron donors or acceptors to a ruthenium (II) trisbipyridine complex. The resulting chromophore− acceptor or− donor complexes have been studied by flash photolysis and are shown to undergo efficient electron-transfer reactions to and from the chromophore.
