Abstract
We report the discovery of thiabendazole as a potent inhibitor (K i= 0.4 μM) of Escherichia coli methionine aminopeptidase (ecMetAP) and the synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of thiabendazole congeners with activity in the upper nanomolar range.
