Abstract

Oxidation of the silyl-boranes method.(Me8SiC2H4) 3B, in which the groupings MeaSiCH&HrB and MetSiCHMe-B occurred in about 2: l. molar ratio. ing the trimethylvinplsilane: NaBH, ratio gave products where this ratio was about 1: 1. using the method of Brown and Rao2 gave the corresponding alcohols in good yield.
