Abstract

4a-h by column chromatograp.. y. Oily hydrazines+ d, b were not separated from 1, 2-dip.. enyL n-butylhydrazine and these mixtures were characterized only by NMR spectra. When the Grignard reagents were added to the reaction mixtures immediately following the azobenzenes, the yields of hydrazines 4 decreased to 15% or less.
