Abstract
In transition-metal-catalyzed allylic substitution (Scheme 1), allylic acetates and carbonates play a prime role as electrophilic substrates. Numerous studies and applications using Pd (0), 1 Mo (0), 2 and W (0) 3 complexes and a variety of reacting partners show how general this reaction is.
