Abstract

Summary An antiserum has been prepared by injecting rabbits with an azoprotein made by coupling sheep serum with diazotized p-aminosuccinanilic acid, the molecules of which have a plane of symmetry. It has been found that the d and 1 isomers of N-(a-methylbenzy1)- succinamic acid differ in their power to inhibit the precipitation of this antiserum by an azoprotein made by coupling ovalbumin with diazotized p-aminosuccinanilic acid, the 1 ...
