Abstract

A series of racemic balanol analogues with modification of the benzamido moiety of balanol have been synthesized and evaluated for their inhibitory activities against human protein kinase C isozymes (PKC-alpha,-beta I,-beta II,-gamma,-delta,-epsilon, and-eta).
