Abstract

Received AYovembeT 20, 1964-4 series of 2-amino-. i-anilinopr~ p~ I-4-pyrimidinols (X) bearing a p-nitrophenyl. p-tolyl, or 2-furyl group at the 6-position were synthesized. In addition, a series of 2, 4-diaminopyrimidines with a phenylbutyl (SXI) or anilinopropyl group (XTTII) at the 5-position and bearing either a &phenyl or 6-benzyl group were prepared.
