Abstract
Results The general formulas of the compounds studied are given in Chart I. The parent straight-chain 1-nitroalkanes (CnHzn+ lNOz, n= 1-6 and 8), at a concentration of loo0 pg/ml, did not inhibit the growth of any of the test organisms listed in Table I.
