Abstract
The thermal decomposition of benzoyl peroxide in benzotrifluoride has been found to give negligible reaction with thc trifluoromethyl group but a 50% yield of a mixture of isomeric phenylbenzotrifluorides'(18yo o-, 40% m-, 42% p-).
