Abstract

The heterocyclic derivatives of 1, 2-amino alcohols have often been successfully employed as chiral auxiliaries in asymmetric synthesis. 1 In this context the role played by chiral oxazolidin-2-ones (Evans' chiral auxiliaries) 2 has been particularly significant.
