Abstract
Three series of triphenylmethane derivatives have been found, in this laboratory, to undergo molecular rearrangements akin to each other and quite analogous to the Lossen-Curtius- Hofmann-Beckmann rearrangements of acid and ketone derivatives2 Triphenylmethylhydroxylamines rearrange under the influence of phosphorus penta~ hloride,~ triphenylmethylchloroamines rearrange under the influence of alkaline reagents,' ...
