Nucleophilic substitution of [MesTe(TeMes 2 )] + (1a) with Ph 3 E is the key to the preparation of the heteroleptic 1:1 Lewis pair complexes [MesTe(EPh 3 )] + (E = P, As, Sb), which are best described as phosphonium, arsonium, and stibonium cations, respectively. ...
