Abstract
The allylation reaction of carbonyl compounds with gsubstituted allylboron reagents is one of the most reliable procedures for the regio-and diastereoselective synthesis of homoallylic alcohols, and hence, is widely used in organic synthesis.[1] As the stereochemistry of the CÀC double bond of the substituted allylboron reagent dictates the stereochemistry of the resultant homoallylic alcohols, it is crucial to obtain stereochemically defined g-substituted ...
