Abstract

Abstract The reaction of pyrrole/furan aldehyde with Grignard reagent and pyrrole/N-methyl pyrrole in sequence allows efficient synthesis of a number of meso-elaborated bis (heterocyclyl) methanes, which are otherwise difficult to obtain through a direct aldehyde condensation route.
