Abstract

ABSTRACT The hydrolysis of nitriles in presence of NaY zeolite under microwave irradiations gives corresponding amide in high yield in few minutes. Key words: Microwave, Amide, Nitrile, Zeolite. high yields, high selectivity, ease of setting and work up. In the last few years a growing interest has also been shown in the use of microwave irradiation in organic synthesis. 14-15
