Abstract

Substituted 1,2,5-thiadiazoles are known to exhibit a wide spectrum of biological activity [1]. In addition to pronounced herbicide activity, 1,2,5-thiadiazole derivatives were found to be efficient muscarine receptor agonists [2], as well as inhibitors of HIV-1 replication [3]. For example, 1-(1,1-dimethylethyl- amino)-3-(4-morpholino-1,2,5-thiadiazol-3-yloxy)-2- propanol (Timolol) is one of the most important medicines for treatment of glaucoma [4, 5]. The review ...
