Abstract

Benzo [c] furans are a class of interesting and highly reactive compounds that readily undergo Diels–Alder cycloaddition with dienophiles to restore their aromaticity. Initially, the s- tetrazine approach established by Warrener was chosen for the synthesis of the title molecule.
