Abstract
An assay method for hydroxycinnamoyl-CoA: hydroxyanthranilate N-hydroxycinnamoyl transferase (HHT) in oat leaves (Avena sativa L.), which is thought to be one of the key enzymes for the biosynthesis of avenanthramides, phytoalexins in this plant, was established.
