Abstract

The picosecond excited state dynamics of a series of homoleptic Ru (II) polypyridyl complexes (where LL= bpy, dmb, dmeob, dfmb, or dttb) have been investigated in aqueous solution at room temperature using femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy with high photon energy excitation.
