Abstract

Abstract Amphiphilic ligands belonging to the Annelide class are synthesized and shown to form complexes with transition-metal cations. By aggregation, these complexes can be organized into supermolecular structures. For the first time, it is shown that the formation of micellar phases of cobaltous complexes can lead to a dramatic enhancement of the dioxygen stability constant.
