Abstract
Summary The differences between the fluorination of RCHX2 compounds to RCHF2 on the one hand, and of RCX2R'to RCF2R'on the other hand, are described. The following new compounds were prepared: CH3CH2CHF2, CH3 (CH2) sCHFz, CH3-CF2CH3, CH3CF2C2Hb, and CH3CFGH7, together with the compounds resulting from the complete replacement of their hydrogen by chlorine.
