Abstract

The present report describes the usefulness of 4-pyridyl-substituted carboxylic acid (PCA) dimers (isonicotinic acid, trans-3-(4-pyridyl) propenoic acid, 4-(4-pyridyl) benzoic acid, and trans-3-(4-(4-pyridyl) phenyl) propenoic acid dimers) as long bridging ligands of metal- organic coordination frameworks.
