Abstract
The carbene adduct I11 in the nmr spectrum shows the allylic methyl group signals at 8.25 T,~ mol. wt. 136 (mass spec.), infrared 3.63 p (> C= C<), In addition to the isopropylidene carbene adduct 111, a mixture of isomeric t-butyl ethers, lt-butoxy-2-methylpropene-2 (IV) and 1-t-butoxy-2-methylpropene-1 (V), was isolated.
