Abstract

New iminophosphorane− phosphine Re (I) complexes have been synthesized and used for the catalytic isomerization of terminal propargylic alcohols into α, β-unsaturated enals or methylketones under neutral conditions, using the ionic liquid [BMIM][PF6] as a nonconventional solvent.
