Abstract

The new dipliosphiiie (CH3) 2PP (CF3) 2 (x1i. p.-79"; bp est. 120') was made frorn (CHaMW and (CFd) aPC1 at-78", with or without (CHP) BS to remove HCI. It is far less stable than either of these, apparently because the respective P atoms offer electron donor and acceptor action, as shown by its 1: 1 adducts with BHI and with (CH3) aN.
