Abstract

Abstract A number of synthetic routes to fully aromatic bisketenimines, versatile additives for processing polyethylene terephthalate into high-performance tyre yarns, have been studied. A convenient procedure is presented here: conversion of a bis-gem-dichloroaziridine with sodium iodide or zinc.
