Abstract

The atmospheric chemistry of CF3 (CF2) 7H was studied in an 11.5-dm3 environmental reaction chamber by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Using a relative rate method, we determined the Arrhenius expression for the rate constant of the reaction of CF3 (CF2) 7H with OH radicals to be (4.32±1.87)× 10–13exp [–(1540±130)/T] cm3mol–1s–1 at 253–328K.
