Abstract

N, N-Dimethylaminocyclooctatetraene, cyclopropylcyclooctatetraene, and cyclooctatetraenenitrile have been prepared for the first time. N, N- Diethylaminocyclooctatetraene has also been prepared, but was found to rearrange to aN, N- diethylaminostyrene.
