Abstract

Photoreaction of the title compound PhlC (RSO) which was synthesised by the reaction of bis (perfluoroalkanesulphonyl) methane with diacetoxyiodobenzene, with alkene, methanol, bromine and benzene gave corresponding addition or insertion products, the bis ( perfluoroalkanesulphonyl) carbene,(RSO) C: intermediate.
