October, 1960] Studies on Meso-ionic Compounds. XII 1395 water bath, it dissolves in acetic anhydride and the solution quickly turns from yellow to dark red, and after 5 min. yellow crystals separate, which can be recrystallized unchanged from acetic anhydride.
