Abstract

The reactions of the two common dyes [2TMPACT and 4PENI] with Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II) and Cu (II) ions were done. All the isolated complexes have been characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques. The IR data reflect the bidentate mode of 2TMPACT towards the mononuclear complex [Mn (II)] even its tetradentate in binuclear complexes [Co (II) and Cu (II)].
